The smooth, wearable way into leather. Ombré Leather Parfum is the softer, more floral sibling of Tom Ford's iconic leather — a supple suede-leather accord wrapped in creamy florals and warmth. It opens green and slightly powdery with violet leaf and cedar, then buttery jasmine sambac and orris soften the leather into something sensual and smooth, over a base of black leather, tobacco, patchouli, and amber. It smells like luxury car seats and a well-worn leather jacket, but polished, not animalic.
This is widely considered the most approachable leather on the market: rich and confident, but easy enough that even non-leather people love it. Performance is good — several hours of presence and a smooth, lingering trail. Best in fall, winter, and evenings, leaning a bit dressy, and wearable unisex.
